hey guy's a strange one here i did some searching but didnt come up with anything so i thought i would throw this out to the experts....
2004 5.4 with 35k on her, i am having a ping on heavy accelration
or under load... have a vmp tune for 87 performance truflow air filter
and sido flowmaster 40 series... never had a ping before with all this stuff
in place... i recently got a bad batch of gas and since have replaced the fuel
filter and did a bg fuel induction service. this has me going crazy....
no cel's and she idles fine. i have also noticed there isnt as much pep
since this has started......? anyone have any ideas?

Do you run premium fuel? If not try it and see if it goes away.

Had an explorer that pinged under load if you did not run premium

have you talked to vmp, i mean they did make the tune, thats where i would start

i just sent an email to justin..... wasnt sure if the tune was the probilem?
