Hi! long time lurker first time poster. So while doing an oil pan gasket replacement and flex plate replacement the transmission bellhousing mount area cracked torquing back into the engine. It's serious enough that I will be replacing the whole unit and was wondering what options there might be? If you call a wrecker they will tell you upto 06, 4x4 4.6L can be used but I'd like more options if its possible.

Read something about the transmissions upto 08 could work but not sure if thats really true.

The truck is at 320,000km but since I just had the heads replaced due to spark plug issues figured it is worth fixing.
