04 150 stalled out. now nothing
I started my truck the other morning to let it warm up. It was running fine. I locked the doors via keypad and went inside. Came back out 5 min. Later and engine was off. Now it wont start or even turn over. I have good battery voltage at 12.6 v connections are clean. Any ideas? Maybe something to do with the PATS security system? Thanks ahead of time

Look at the light on the dash (PATS indicator), If it's blinking like a strobe, there's a PATS issue.

The pats indicator blinks 3 times when key / ignition is on the stays continuosly lit. Manual says it should not stay lit and contact service dealer if it is. Is there a test i can perform on the fuel pump driver mod to see if its defective? Thanks guys for the help. Much appreciated

FPDM is a simple check. Look at it. If the case is rotted out, there's an issue.
Being that it's not cranking, I wouldn't suspect the FPDM, that's not going to interfere with the key engaging the starter. The PATS system will.

I removed the fuel pump driver mod and found it to be slightly cracked. Now would the engine crank if this part is defective? Because mine wont crank. It does nothing when key is on.

If you have a PATS issue you could try
- remove key, close and open with fob try to start
- try your 2nd Key
- remove Key , remove neg cable from battery for 30 min, try again steps above

I guess im back to the drawing board. Finding the small crack on the FPDM is just preventive maintenance, seeing that my truck wont even crank. I did try disconnecting battery and locking and unlocking doors with fab. Any other ideas?
