How'd you keep that paint looking sooo nice?
LOTS of TLC!

I've always kept a good coat of wax on it and I use a spray NANO wax in between which usually is atleast once a week. My dad always said "if you don't have the money to buy another one, take care of the one you got". So, I've always tried to keep it looking as new as possible.

Thanks for the compliment though!

Truck looks amazing. Love the black on black.

What are your thoughts on the bora wheel spacers. Specifically. If you did it over again would you do 1.5". I was thinking 1.5 to 2". Does the extra kick up on the truck bother you at all with the offset? Do you have any more pics?!!?

Thanks

I like the wheel spacers. I would probably go with 1.5" again as they stick out enough, truck loves to cover itself in mud.

Have Bushwacker 2" extend a flares I'm putting on, so that will help a little bit.

This thread is full of pictures of my truck. Just start going backwards

A pic of the LED's on the front end of my truck at night. Just wanted to share it. Need to get a pic with my heads and fogs on with the LED's. I use them kinda like daytime running lights.

During the day.

What type of body work do you need to get done?

If its just minor and you are interested in bringing back the shine, I can share what I know with you.

I have an 08 Screw 2WD XLT that was my company work truck before they bought me a 16. I purchased it off the company really cheap just to clean it up to sell and make a quick buck. The truck had NEVER been waxed and only rinsed off at the car wash occasionally. But, it did not have rust or any dents. PLENTY of scratches from being driven through the woods and branches rubbing it ( I used to to ground water sampling/analysis and was required to drive to remote locations where ground water wells were located ). I have some before and after photos and will share the steps I took to bring it back to life but it was well worth it.

Dont know the current state of your truck but if its just faded or has some scratches, you can definitely make a huge difference with the right chemicals and A TON of elbow grease. I probably had 50+ hours in bringing the paint and trim back out on the 08 work truck.

Good luck!

Haha 06HD150 I think you should just put your grille and hood info in your signature.
