So your not actually breaking the blue your just pushing it off through the back and then painting it? Also, my emblem has like a clear coat chipping off. How did you handled that? I would think it needs to be removed before re painting.

Man, there is no clearcoat on the emblems I posted. You have the break the blue plastic from the back side of the emblem to get what you can see from the front to come out. Like I said, if you have an emblem in hand, its really easy to figure out what to do.

Ok mine has a clear hard film that is starting to peel off the chrome so I figured there was a hard clear coat baked on.

^^Sure he does amazing work, but at $100 an emblem, my method is EXACTLY the same, for $15 an emblem, 3 cans of duplicolor for $21 (36 total) with enough to do at least 10 emblems. Plus the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Depends if you want to spend the time to do it or not.

Ok didn't realize that would work bc it sid 09 plus and camera and mine is an 08 with camera in the handle. Looks like I need a 9" on front and back which I had assumed it was 7".
