I have the 05 F150 square foglight bumper. Im trying to swap out to the 06+ round foglight front bumper. I know i will need a new valance, the front bumper and the foglights. Will i have to purchase new brackets also to complete the swap? The current bumper has some damage and i thought it will be a good idea to upgrade bumper. TIA

ive been looking into the same swap. i hit a deer and t boned a car that pulled out in front of me with this bumper. i think they should match up but thats just my guess from eyeballing it. the 06 appears to be the exact same as the 05 and 04 with just different shaped lights

I believe you need new brackets and all of the hardware that comes with it.

Let me know if you guys find one. Im just looking to swap chrome bumper with either the square or round fog lights.

you need the 06-08 bumper brackets, it will just bolt up like the old one.

Thanks for the input. I looked at the oem bumpers and they are a little expensive. Will a aftermarket be just as good? Anything to look out for when buying aftermarket bumpers?

No. aftermarket bumpers are crap, i'd take a used oem bumper over an aftermarket one anyday.
