Died while driving with all lights and guages off immediately put in to neutral all guages and lights back on and it fired. that happened a couple of weeks ago and happened again today this time took a minute or two before firing. All other events like first time. No check engine no code no warning. Any help?

What year and mileage, looks like its a 2000, if so, you may have more luck in the right year group section (this is 2004-2008). But, I would go to autozone or your local parts store and have them check the alternator/battery as well as check for codes anyway. Have you looked around for obvious things like the battery cables being loose or corroded? Any other symptoms? Have you recently did any work on it, added any aftermarket components, etc?

For everything to go, I'm thinking the ignition switch might be going south. I'm trying to think of any one component that could take the whole truck down electrically. Maybe there is one and I just don't know it. Good luck.

Had problems similar to these and it turned out to be the aftermarket remote starter was poorly installed and had loose wiring.
