0 offset or +12 offset?

0 offset or +12 offset?
I need help deciding what looks better. Its hard to tell because some trucks have the stock fender flares (FX4) and some don't.
I'm planning to go with 33x12.5 tires on either an 18x9 or 17x9 rim on my FX4, and I want to get the poke just right.
I think this looks PERFECT, but it says its a +20 offset and that doesn't sound right:

Looks like that might be a +12 offset?
This is a picture of a truck with 0 offset and 33x12.5 tires:

That looks pretty good but I'd like to see what +12 would look like.
It's hard to tell if +12 is good and meaty, or if you need 0 to get the right stance to look tough without being too much.

I have 17x9 with +12 offset running 285-70-17 tires and it is perfect to me. I don't like to look like a formula one Indy car, but I do like to see some meat. I think the difference between 0 and +12 will be hard to notice. You're talking 12mm difference. Tire size will make more of a difference than +12 or 0 offset.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Those factory flares are probably good for a 1/2" or so, which is about 12mm. I've scoured forums and the web for a couple hours but haven't found many pictures of a truck with the stock fender flares and +12mm offset
