Do you have in channel window deflectors? I saw on a thread that someone was experiencing the same problem with the visors causing the auto up to not work.

What do you mean by driver side passenger? Only the front doors have auto up. You can try to re-initialize the window by rolling it down all the way (use auto-down) then rolling it up all the way and hold switch till you hear a click in the door (should be .5 sec after window closes).

There is more to that than what you posted, check my posts as I already posted this back a while ago. As to the OP, there is an issue with the switch control on the drivers side so I would get it to the dealer to get a new one, I had this issue as well but on the passenger side.

Quite honestly, I wouldn't mind if mine would quit working on the auto feature on both sides, all together. I can't stand it. It is nearly impossible to just put the window down a few inches, or even half way down. Everytime I hit the button, it triggers the auto feature, no matter how lightly I touch it. Ugh. I can probably count the number of times per year, on one hand, that I actually want to put my windows ALL the way down. Never understood the draw to this feature, let alone when seems to ONLY allow the window to go all the way down, whether you want it to or not.

That was my first problem prior to it not working the passenger side. Since the new switch was put in now I can feel the click when I hit the button and have better control but albeit not perfect....

^^^ that will initialize the system if it has become de-initialized. I realize there is more to the full de-initialization procedure, but if one-touch up is inactive it is possible that the window reg became de-initialized. This can happen if the reg loses power while cycling, but it can also happen if you partially cycle the window repeatedly without ever opening it all the way and don't use one-touch to close (if you were to crack the window).

The trick I use is to press the switch again in the same direction when you want it to stop. For example, if you want the window half way open, I would press express down to move the window then press down on the switch again once it is in position to get it to stop. I hate how the 2nd detent is too easily activated.
