goalie25 Ha ha ha yeah no odubt. You should start a new thread. We had our own home made mods back in the day. That is probably how all the current stuff got a patent and came into production.

I've been reading this whole thread since the start of the first post. I live my life for me and my family, I don't care what other people do as long as it doesn't affect me or my family in a direct way. Now, there are things in this world that I will never understand, but that's ok, thats what makes this world different and marvelous.

Some kids walk around with the waist of their pants around their knees....why? It's got to be hard to walk around like that, but still they do it....but why? Who knows, who cares. As long as my pants are on my hips, I'm good.

Heres a perfect example: I LOVE my wife, but there are things that she does that I will never understand. For instance, (and I'm sure a lot of you guys can relate) she loves buying shoes. She loves to wear pretty shoes just for the look of them, when buying shoes comfort is NOT a deciding factor....WTF! For me, if the shoe is uncomfortable then I'm on to the next pair. Comfort in shoes is everything to me. So, with that said, let's get back to our trucks and truck owners.

I love the sound of a mean machine as much as the next guy. I see where the OP was going with his statement about not comprehending why people would buy an exhaust just for the sound. But that's just it, there is no comprehension except for the simple fact of .....because I like it, because I can, because it's my truck, Thats why! Same thing as the metaphor I used about my wife and shoes.

A pair of nice looking shoes that cost $100, but hurt your feet.....really? But, to my wife, the nice shoes make her feel good, she looks good in them, instant satisfaction in her eyes, even at the cost of comfort. She's happy, I'm happy.

So with that, I leave you guys with this statement. Live and let live. If you want your muffler to sound loud go for it, it's your truck, who cares what the next guy thinks about it.

Personally I care if a person walks around with their pants around their knees. I do not care to see their *****, nor do I wish for my daughter to have look at someone that does. Just saying.

i have 295 70 18 trials, CAI, throttle body, 5star tune (headers & high flow cats coming) and more appearance mods, dont you think the presence is necessary??? I love my Roush exhaust, it lets me and anyone in my way know it, especially when they pissed me off, rattling their ear drums as i pass them. Must be the Country boy to have big tires and loud truck.

My analogy Just sayin you'd be that guy with all the muscle but a little squeaky voice lol

jesusv LOL...Walking with your pants down below your butt line will eventually mess up their hip joints because I see alot of them walking wide legged. And I can't figure out why wear shoes that hurt your feet either. My feet has to be comfortable and not in pain. Statistics show that high heels are one of the biggest factors leading to foot problems in women, with up to a third suffering permanent problems, so they will surely keep Podiatrists in business. The question is do you wanna have nice looking straight feet like this example:

Or messed up crooked feet with a bunch of corns and stuff like this example: LOL

mrgooden Yeah no doubt to this comment. I hate it and it looks stupid and I believe they do not know where it originated from. Prison.

XLT2012F-150 I love the "rattle their ear drums" part. LOL Yeah I sure would love that, or get a horn blasters installed so those ones who are holding up traffic going slow cause they are talking on the phone, ride past them and scare the crap out them so they can get out of the way.

LOL! Some great points here, but you get the gist of my post. There are a lot of things in this world that we just don't understand why people do the things they do. Just look the other way and keep it moving. Why waste your time complaining about crazy things other people do. Oh and thank GOD my wifes feet don't look crooked like that! I'm a foot guy and love pretty feet! Just saying.

Thats funny about the feet. The third thing I noticed about my wife besides her amazing big blue eyes, cute little butt was the first evening I went over to her house and she came out barefoot. Wow! the most absolutely sexiest feet ever, and still the same. We have been married for 27 years and she is still every bit amazing to me.
