I have an XTR. I'm pretty sure it's a canadian thing and it's basically just a sticker put on an xlt with a chrome package

XLT is more of a sport edition. Has power/sync/tow package. No Carpet

The STX is positioned between the XL and XLT. A little more stock options than the XL, little less than the XLT. You can go to www.ford.com, under F150 built and price you can see the difference.

m, the XLT does come with carpet, but I think you can order it with the vinyl floor cover if wanted. It is the same as the Canadian version called the XTR. Why Ford calls them differently is anyones guess. After you order the XLT, or the XTR you can then order the chrome package which adds some chrome stuff to the truck. To get the power, sync, and 4.2" info screen together you have to order the convienence package. The tow package (depending on which one wanted) is a package all by itself. There's some crazy exceptions though.

I was wrong, wrong, wrong on the XTR package. See below. But, the rest is close to right. I think.

The XLT in the US and Canada are the same... BUT if you order the 'Chrome Package', in the US its just the Chrome Package while in Canada Ford labels it as the XTR package.

Syclone, thanks for the info. I was close, but as they say "Close only counts in horseshoes, and hand gernades." I'll get it right the next time.
