Heat over time renders that self-stick useless. At least in TX.

Gave this a try this morning, very easy mod, ac does seem a little cooler when it's cranked (or maybe I just want to believe it is haha). Will see how it feels over the next few days

I decided not to do it. No complaints with my AC, not even during the 100+ summers here. And I never even run it as cold as it can go.

I wonder if there would be significant improvements using exhaust tape?

Update: driven with this for nearly a week now, and it was 90 here yesterday. I have to say that this mod is completely worth it, not a night and day difference, not noticeable nonetheless. Best way I can describe the difference is that I feel like I can keep my fan on 1 "click" lower than I normally would. For the minimal cost, I say give it a try!
