Worst quality vehicle I've ever owned

If you research, you'll find that Hyundai owners aren't being covered for major engine troubles, unless and ONLY if dealer does all/100% engine maintenance , including ALL oil changes . If a consumer had any done by anyone else, even with receipts and documentation, they are VOIDING the warranty! It's all for marketing and sales, had y'all fooled!
How do I know?
Work for a Ford/Hyundai/VW dealership. I'm the one that orders the engines. We just put an engine in under warranty on a Sonata that had a Fram filter on the old one. Hell, I wouldn't warranty the thing based on the Fram filter, but Hyundai had no problem with it.
That said, with ANY brand, if you run a filter that doesn't meet their specifications and/or requirements, they can, and often will deny warranty. When I worked for a Dodge dealership we'd deny warranty on Cummins engines that had been dusted with bad CAI kits and had oil problems with cheap no-name oil filters.
As far as post-warranty care, I've seen Hyundai do paint on two cars that were out of warranty on mileage but weren't on time, and we've got a third we're waiting on paperwork from our DPSM on. We've put an engine in at 105k miles for goodwill, as well as warranted a transmission that the kid admitted he was drifting with when it broke, but he had to pay for the clutch and flywheel. It does depend a great deal on who your DPSM is though, the one I had 4 years ago would do damned near anything to earn/keep customer loyalty, the two we've had since have been good, but nowhere near that good.
When I worked at a GM dealership we put in at least three engines that were out of warranty but paid for by GM in four months I worked there (HATED working "for" GM) as well as a transmission and a few paint jobs. That said, I also saw a car under warranty sit for six months (three of them prior to my going to work there) while waiting on a backordered part for the transmission. In spite of the "good" customer care I saw at times, most of what I saw convinced me that I never wanted to work in a GM dealership again, and I would never buy a new GM product.
I just don't see that happen with Ford.
