Default What oil do you use in your 5.4
Just a little curious on what the majority of y'all use in your 5.4's. I normally use rotella T in all my motors like diesel motors, my race car motor, 4 wheeler and just about everything I own.

I use Castrol Edge, formerly called Castrol Syntec. unfortunately I saw absolutely no difference in this over the Motorcraft synthetic blend.

I'm really reluctant about synthetic motor oils. I know that bearings sometimes have problems with bearings.

just use the Motorcraft blend. it's not a full synthetic, but it's the same stuff they use in the new vehicles with 10000 mile service intervals.

I use Royal Purple 5W-20 with the Royal Purple filter. Nothing but the best for my baby!
