The in-channel were fine on my Ranger (hand crank). Scuffed the tops of the windows a little, but that's it.

Avs had them for two years. Only had it tem bounce back maybe 5 times. All due to the little tip tat slides under the mirror. Also a good tip for installing them. Warm the 3m tape bit with a heat gun, and clean the body with rubbing alcohol. Then make sure you have it right cause they will stick and never want to let go

I just installed these myself. $80.00 W/free shipping Amazon.

bilinvic Retrofits I didn't even know their was a seamless style until this thread but I actually don't mind the ones on my truck that stick out a bit more. It certainly looks better then stock IMO and are really functional on those really humid days we get here when I need to leave the windows down a crack parked in the blistering heat. (Not this summer its been more of an Amazon rain forest this summer)

PS: Where did you get the cool headlights?

Another tip is don't peel the entire length of red plastic off the 3M tape. Just take off about an inch at either end and fold it over then place your vent shade on at the two ends once you're happy with the location you can then remove the entire strip away from the two sided tape.

1 month in - and ready to pull them. I LOVE how they look, but they just don't function AT ALL with the windows.
Do you have the Revised Version of these... I have for a year since I bought my Screw with no issues... The Revised ones have 3, 3" strips that stick to the inside of the window channel... one at the Front, Middle, and back of each vent visor! I also didnt install the little plastic window channel pieces either!!!

I didn't know about the seamless ones till this thread... Now I'm even more confused - - But I'm leaning toward the standard stick-ons or the seamless ones.

Ford is giving some guys a hard time if the window motors go bad. They are saying the vent visors are to blame for that. Because the window is being pinched in the channel and making it harder for the motor to push the window up....

I would not recommend the in channel visors I had them for four months and the windows would constantly hit them and go back down. So I ripped them out tonight and ordered a set of seamless hopefully they are better.

I am happy with my choice. I think the regular ones look great.
Are these the AVS?

I'm waiting to find a deal on the "chrome" AVS stick-ons. Yep. I said it. Just to be different on my white s.crew lariet. Anybody seen a price that wasn't $130 ish?
