I'm looking to add window vet visors / rain guards.

Do any of you have suggestions as to which are the best regarding functionality and installation?

I have the AVS slim in-channel visors.... I like them.
Some people complain about them putting pressure on the window as they roll up but I have not had this experience in either of my vehicles.

I simply dont car for the 3m stick-ons as I had one rip off on the interstate once.

I went back and forth on the in-channel vs. stick-on when I recently put some vent visors on my new truck. Finally determined that there is enough of a potential long-term problem with the in-channel and window wear/pressure along with the fact you DO lose some of your window opening that I went with factory Ford units. I prefer the LOOKS of the in-channel, for sure.
I noticed the other day that my driver's side visor has a loose corner already....sigh.
I prepped the area correctly and everything, but still have the looseness. No big deal as I have some of the good automotive double-sticky tape, but yeah...sort of pissed me off.
I had a set on my Suburban for 19 years without a problem, same for a few other vehicles I've owned over the years.
I would say if you did a poll you'd find most people liking the in-channel ones a little better. But ultimately you decide what you want on YOUR truck.

both have their pro's and con's.... I went with the in-channels on my 2010 SCREW as I prefer that look. I haven't had any issues with them (re: window rubbing... yet). I have had both types on previous vehicles and I found that the stick on ones eventually wear loose and flap. Not a big deal if you pay attention to them...

In-channel ones here. Autoshade, I think. So problems with window operation or other.

I have the EGR smoke in channel, LOVE them!!!!

Best part is the dam that comes all the way down in the front on driver & passenger sides

i have the stick on AVS one's. i ordered the stick on seamless one's and sent them back. they were not very high quality and they were actually so flimsy they hit the windows. got my money back for those and ordered the regular stick on one's and love them. i have had at least 10 sets of these on different vehicles and not one issue at all to date. either choice is gonna be better than none at all.
