Will a leveling kit affect Extended Service Plan purchase
I'm looking to purchase an Extended Service plan for my 2011 F-150 Supercrew 4X4. The previous owner installed a leveling kit. I'm wondering if that will disqualify me from being able to purchase an ESP. The vehicle, which I purchased with 32,000 miles on it, now has 36,000 and therefore requires a Ford Dealer vehicle inspection. The main reason I want to purchase the warranty is that I have a rattling coming from where the steering column goes into the firewall and I think it might be the a bad Electronic Power Assist Steering unit. That's at least an 800 dollar part. I've already had to get the upper blend door actuator fixed which luckily was when the truck was at 34,000 miles and still under warranty or I would have been looking at 1500 for that repair. If anybody has any insight into my situation I'd appreciate it.

It should not affect your ability to purchase an extended warranty. The inspection report may note a leveling kit on the truck but that in itself should not disqualify the vehicle.
Word of caution. Shop online Ford dealers for your warranty. Likely your local Ford dealer will gouge you for the cost. Some dealers sell warranties in Bulk and have little to no mark-up. Dealers can mark up warranties as much as $500 - $1000. You can purchase from ANY Ford dealer and get the inspection done at your local ford dealer. I have done it before and the inspection fee was $25. I live in MA and purchased my warranty from a dealer in CA for $800 less than my local dealer cost. Flood Ford In RI used to have low costs but that was over a year ago.
Google Ford ESP plans and put in for quotes from several dealers online and pick the best price. You'll be surprised what discounts you can get.

I don't think a leveling kit will affect anything, my truck has been into my local Ford dealer a few times and they haven't said a peep about the leveling kit.

I bought a extended warranty for my truck with a level and not a single word was discussed about the level. I asked about the standard warranty on the truck if it effects anything and they said NOPE...
