Default Will 2006 17" six lug wheels fit my 2011 4x4 with 18" wheels

First of all I have a 2011 XLT 4x4 with 18" wheels and I have been looking for some "take offs" here lately. I came across a set today off a 2006 F150 6 lug but they are 17". Will there be any problems putting these 17" wheels on my truck even though mine came with 18" wheels? I just wanted an extra set of wheels that i can put some mud tires on during deer season. Thanks for the help in advance.

Thanks,
Brian

I'm pretty sure that the new trucks can come with 17" wheels in some models so yes.

The only thing you need to check is wether or not the 2011 has a 6x135 lug pattern like the '06

Yea they should fit perfectly just speedometer will be off by five or ten mph unless calibrated with some type of programmer. I have 20s on my f150 and in winter time I put 17s on so my stock wheels wont see road salt

The speedometer won't be off as long as he keeps the stock diameter tire of 32 for 4x4 and 31 for 4x2

Default 2004 f-150

So I have a 2004 F-150 XLT right now with 2o in XD Rims on it and I wanted to see about getting different rims for the winter so they wont have to see salt. On craigslist I found some nice 18 inch rims from a 2012 F-150. Will they fit on my truck? I guess the question is: Is the lug patten on an 04 the same as a 12? Also, do I have to worry about any brake issues?
Thanks guys

Is yours the new body style or the heritage? If its the new body style they will fit no problem.
