Can we have a little longer.

I'm trying very hard at this instant not to spit out a nice cool mouthful of great IPA.

This guy should have written for Jack Parr or Steve Allen. Carson would have grabbed for Carnac's turban.

I really enjoy my Eco, have driven a couple different new model trucks including the 5.0, hemi, 5.3 and 6.2. Still stuck with the Eco. Zero engine problems

15 pages of attack, in less than 3 hours to defend this:

Is the ecoboost getting better mileage?

Not really and is the little bit worth it--Not seeing it.

Is the ecoboost a heavy hauler?

Not really. For the little bit more that Ford rates it over the V8 it seems marginal.

So what are you getting?

1. The potential for stumbling as the condensation gets sucked in.
2. Ignition problems requiring that you reduce the plug gap.
3. Coking on the intake valves caused by the heat from the turbos.

Tell me again why the ecoboost is so popular?????

Can anyone explain that?????????????????

I hope they have better things to do than worry about what guys say on a message board.

That's great. Most people have had that experience and myself included: Read the thread and use your brain. Either these people are nuts or they are fighting for something besides their stupid ecoboost.
