Pretty much since new my airbag light has been staying on while driving. Has anyone had this issue? I'm wondering what is involved in "turning it off". I have an appt. next week for them to look at it at get me first oil change done.

Cheers

Had this problem with my Nissan Titan, pretty much the reason I got rid of it and came to the F-150. The light would come on, I would take it to the dealer, they would find nothing wrong, reset the light, and then a week later it would be on again. I did this around 6 times before I finally said screw it and traded it in. Sorry I don't have any answers for you. I know there was a key sequence to reset the light in my Titan.

Thanks! I hope I don't have to go through that!

I wonder what would happen in the courts if I got in an accident and it was determined that my death was due to an airbag malfunction (not being deployed).

I have similar problems with my light. It will come on and stay on for a little bit. Mine will not stay on all the time tho. No idea on a fix.

Hmmm, never thought of that...

I would expect my family would fight for proper compensation. After all, I payed for this safety feature and it didn't perform as designed.

Exactly what I was thinking with mine, and at the time I had my first kid on the way so I decided to avoid the whole situation altogether.
