Yeah, the cutoff shield is on the bottom, right?

How do you have cutoff in a reflector housing?

I've opted for raptor-retrofits, blacked out projectors 55w, complete replace, plug and play.
very bright and easy install, but it's a lil pricey...

Because reflector housings have a cutoff. You'd be blinding everyone with stock bulbs if they didn't. There's also a small metal shield mounted right under the low beam led to help with this. At least, there is on the 4x4truckleds ones.

Here are my LEDs in a reflector housing.

sure but you cant control the light like you can in a projector...which is why jerkoffs running ebay LEDs are blinding people on the road left and right because they want their headlights to be blue.

it cuts off but a lot of the light is still thrown into the eyes of oncoming traffic.

In your pic you just posted that's eye level for oncoming traffic.

The pic I posted (40' from a wall) also showed the same exact level of cutoff when I had halogens. I even measured. My headlights were aimed too high as I'd put a spacer in the front and hadn't adjusted yet. Needless to say, I was showing there is a cutoff. You can always adjust your housings to determine where that cutoff is.

I don't disagree. I do think we can agree that not all LEDs are created equal. Cheap junk does just as you said, while the better kits don't seem to post noticeable glare for incoming traffic.

I've had my 4x4truckleds LEDs in for about 7 months and haven't been flashed. I've used my girlfriends car to test glare coming from my truck and I honestly didn't notice any.

You will want to go back and talk to 4x4truckleds and get clarification on what you have. You are definitely missing something. I love being able to adjust mine so that I can get it just right. I had a cheap Amazon set before this and those lights were out of control. They had no adjustment and were awful on the street. I could see everything, but blinded everyone. This set I have from 4x4truckleds corrected the issue.

I messaged them. When installed my LED's are side to side. Are you guys saying they should be top and bottom AND there is a certain side that should be on the bottom?
