Default Who's replaced their halogen bulbs with LEDs?

2013 F150 with the stock headlight in right now. I'd like to replace the bulbs with some H13 LEDs but am not quite sure of the pros and cons. I also want to make sure that the daytime running lights will still work. Who has done this, and what would you recommend? Thanks guys!

I just installed mine. All pro's so far, no cons. Bright as hell, took all of 10min. to install. Got them from 4X4truckleds.com on their 20% off sale.

Both pictures are low beams:

Ahh right. Should have known that.

Well I went ahead and bought a mid-range set off Amazon, (around $60) and holy moly they are awesome! Bright, white, and light up the road like crazy with the brights on. AAAAAnd YES, the DRLs do work just fine, and they look way nice during the day with the white light. Very satisfied.

This set you bought on Amazon will blind everything coming at you. Do yourself a huge favor and return them. Then buy the set the 4x4truckleds sells. That kit is adjustable and you can get it just right not to blind others. This is the only LED headlight setup that people here run. It is definitely tried and true.

The cons are mostly everyone else on the roads problem now.

Whats the point in buying LEDs then? The brightness that doesn't bother others on the road is the brightness a halogen bulb provides. If you're going to adjust them down to what is good for everyone else you might as well stick with halogen.

The only thing that really stops people from being blinded and still adds brightness is a stepped cutoff that a projector provides.

I believe that to be true, but every so often, I do get flashed, with my retrofits. It's pretty rare though, and I notice when it does happen, it's a filthy POS vehicle. Since the outside is so filthy, it makes me wonder how many fingerprints, smoke film layers, and filth are on the inside of their windows.
