Just go with a 6" kit and call it a day choose the company who you think you like the most and fits your budget and needs. If you truck is going to be on the street 90% of the time then they are all going to work just fine. Just keep in mind if you are going with 20's or not. I went with 18's im not big on huge flashy wheels i like more tire and sidewall then wheel.
I agree. I hate the looks of 20s...would much prefer 17s. I just really wanted those leafs in the rear....

I think the McGaughys kit looks goofy cause it ends up making the pickup nose high (defeats the purpose of having a pickup) and all the other lifts except Skyjacker come with blocks instead of leaf springs, which is a rip off because you pay the same for a kit with $50 blocks as you do a kit like Skyjacker that comes with $500 leaf springs. Blocks cause axle wrap which is bad. The bad part about the Skyjacker is you have to run 20s. If you already have 20s or are going to run 20s, I would say go with Skyjacker, hands down. If you can't/don't want to run 20s and don't care about axle wrap from blocks and don't mind spending an extra 4 - $500 for no reason, then go with any other lift out there. My .02.
A lift kit defeats the purpose of a pick up

Thanks guys, all the insight has been great. I spent forever trying to find a wheel I liked and its a 22x9.5. I wasnt looking for an extreme negative offset because I don't like the look of flares so a lot of wider rims were ruled out. A buddy of mine runs the RCX and he has had no complaints but now I'm intrigued by skyjacker so I will have to take a look. What components did you run to stretch the 6" RCX to 7.5"?

He's got Bilstein 5100s to stretch the kit to 7.5, and he's got a body lift to get it to 10.5".

You need to run bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks since you don't want to have to stack spacers. Then if you want the rear end level you could do a aal or larger rear block.
