You actually saw a truck in that pic? All I saw was a huge black piece of plastic! Look out Chevy Avalanche here comes the new F150!

Nope Nope Nope. I stopped at the dealer last week when they got a near identical truck in on the lot just to see the ins and outs. Fugly is all I got to say, all the way around, and much more money to boot! I'll stick with my 14' for a number of years hoping they figure something else out for the next design.

I'm starting to hear a few body shops advertising on the radio, that "they are the only shop with the experience and the equipment to repair it properly."
Depending on how much truth there is in that. I'm curious to to find out if the insurance rates went up significantly or what?

So far, no one is reporting insurance rates that are out of the ordinary......we'll have to see if the repair bills are about the same. If those start coming in significantly higher, then it won't take long for the insurance companies to catch up.

I know you'll be one of the first to see what it'll be like fixing them price wise.
I'll be interested to hear if in a year it inflates more than usual.
Hopefully not.

This is the same thing that happened when the Mustangs came out with the 2010 body style. Everyone said how ugly it was and now it's the norm. This will happen with the new F-150s. The more you see them on the road, the more normal they'll look and all of this talk will be history I'm personally not warming up to the new body style yet either, but it's inevitable that I will (for reasons stated above).

Hmmmmm......it sounds like you are saying that I am soon going to be in an accident......regardless, our truck is a mostly steel 2014, so I really don't know where your comments are coming from??

Not jealous one bit. Around here you'd probably get trolled by all the Silverado drivers for having one anyway. (I live in gay-*** chevy country where everyone hates ford). Ill pass.

Not to mention that rear end is UUUGLY as hell. Ram's my next truck.

Picked up my truck from the shop today after having some work done. They parked it near a 2015 Lariat. I have to say, I'd buy another 14 before the '15 redesign. It's nice, but for whatever reason it looks cheaper. Plus, a comparable king ranch in the 2015 would have stuck about another 5k onto the sticker price with no rebates yet. Not for me.
