I get gas with my mom like every other week and we share at Kroger's cause she gets at least usually 2800 points a month which is 3 fill ups with almost a dollar off and she only uses 87 since she just has a escape. I usually put in 89 or higher when I fill up by myself. Was wondering the pros and cons of running a octane booster and what one you guys use

Yup. Many threads on this. You are wasting your money. If you refer to your manual, you will see that the recommended fuel for your 2006 5.4 is 87 octane.

If your not towing or getting a pinging noise from the motor under load, use the min. I have a tuner and run 91 because of it.
