Default New Charge Air Cooler

Hello all! I hope this is in the correct forum. I recently had the Charge Air Cooler replaced at my local dealer. I was having the dreaded loss of power during heavy acceleration and high humidity. The great thing is, it was replaced on my dealers dime! My question however, is after the install, I noticed that the Charge Air Cooler doesn't have the deflector installed. It is a new item, but is this correct? Any assistance you guys and gals can provide will be much appreciated!

My truck is a 2011 XLT Super Crew. Thanks!

if it happens again, just drill a 1/16" hole in the lowest part of the CAC. Shouldn't have to, but if something so simple fixes the issue, do it.

I believe that Ford has determined that the deflector was not the fix that they were looking for so it was discontinued.
