Whining after level, Clunk in 4wd
#13
Just got my 14' back yesterday from the dealer. Had 2.5 level installed 3 weeks ago. IWE was broken. Replaced it and put a new actuator assembly (warrantied). Feeling of possible regret myself. Tempted to remove. Why does it seem the 14's are having issues with lift.?

I put 600km on mine before I had issues. Same lift 2.5 front 2.5 rear block. Fingers crossed we are able to remain problem free

Don't see how adding 2.5 in on top of coilover would cause hub problems..my dealer has 2014 trucks with 6 in lifts..New..with full warranty..was told my lift wound not effect warranty...had lifts ,levels on previous trucks without any problems..hope it's nite 2014 problem...

It's the installation of it. I had mine installed at dealer, bilstein at 2.25" and that was over two years ago and not a single issue and I just used 4wd for two days straight.
These sound pretty delicate and when you go banging around without research I guys they get messed up.

Ericdann where did you have Level installed? My dealer told me $400 level install and alignment. I bought for $80, put on myself, and alignment $49. In retrospect, I shoulda paid the dealer the $400 because now im down $80+49+440 lol

I actually had it installed at the ford dealership by my place.(absolute nightmare) Paid $500 Canadian, they also swapped tires on rims and programmed new sensors. However. I got a complete refund. The mechanic "15 year front end guy" forgot to tighten the caliper bolt on the passenger front. Long story short. Front break seized. Spun the pad and gouged my new rim. Luckily I was ok and no one was beside me, truck jumped the curb and was seized. Hence I never will go back to that dealership again.
