Default Where to find LED interior kits

I know this topic has been hashed out numerous times, but I can't seem to find the exact info I'm looking for.

I have a 2013 FX4 and I want to swap out all interior and some exterior bulbs with LED's. No headlight/fog or tail light led's. I saw a thread or two on this forum but they were old threads, and dealt with older models.

I see on Amazon and Ebay you can buy kits, but they seem much cheaper than I figured. Are these kits worth it, or should I find kits with better or brighter bulbs. Some of those kits are as low as $25 and I have seen older threads on here that had kits in the $80 and up range. Looking at CARID website seems to have very expensive bulbs compared to those kits.

Just wondering if the cheaper kits are worth it or should I splurge for a more expensive kit for brighter and better quality bulbs. I don't know much about LED bulbs...as you can tell.

I also like the F150 LED's.com strip led's for the bed. Is there a cheaper DIY type kit out there?

Do you have an after glow when the lights go off? I installed some LED's in my map lights and dome light and they had a low glow after the lights go out. I originally used a cheap $6 set off eBay but then tried Putco led's and they still glowed when they were suppose to be off. The only way I could get them to not glow was to keep the LED's in the map lights but put the halogen bulb back into the dome light. I'd really like to figure out how to get led's in the map lights and dome light without a glow.

If you go with LED headlights, go through www.southeastoverland.com they have very good kits, I bought a set of headlight bulbs and love them. If you do buy, tell them about this site, you get a discount. And for the fog lights, I went through Amazon and got a set to match for less than $40

Are you able to or did you put the caps back on to keep dust and water out?
