What's the most miles you have gotten out of your F-150?
Just curious how long some of you have gotten out of your F-150's? Doesn't have to be a new F-150. Just in general.
My buddies truck is a 2007 F-150 with the 5.4 with nearly 302k miles and is still running which is Pretty impressive to me especially with these Michigan Winters we have. He hasn't had to do any engine repairs. (Not sure about the tranny?) I was told all he has done is a couple Alternators and Batteries. Other then that he has only done normal Maintenance, Oil, Plugs, etc.. He has had it undercoated which may have helped with the longevity.
I currently have a 2009 F-150 with the 5.4 V8 Triton 147k miles.. I'm not sure whether I'm going to keep the truck until it quits or if I'm going to trade it in and pick up a newer F-150 2011+ next spring/summer. I haven't had many issues with my 5.4. At least nothing major. And with 147k miles I'd say I'm getting to the Higher end of Mileage.
Do any of you plan on driving your trucks until the wheels fall off? :P

65k miles on my 2011. Plan on driving it until I can get some seat time in the 2017 Raptor before I make a decision on what I want to do.

I know it's not much, but my 2005 had 147,000 on it. Never a single engine issue, minus the phaser noise and replacing the solenoids.
The tranny needed to be serviced. Actually that needed a solenoid as well. Aside from that, it actually was a great truck. Slow as all hell, but a good truck nonetheless.
I took extremely good care of it. So there wasn't a single rust spot after 9 years of New England weather.
I would've kept it, but this 14 chose me....
She looked over at me during an oil change, and that was it. My 2005 got traded in with a fresh oil change.

2011 4x4 EcoBoost with 105,000 on it now. Like my last truck, I plan on keeping it till the monthly cost of repairs exceeds the monthly payments on a new one.

We have a 2009 supercrew 4x4 here at work that belonged to the salesman, and then a pool vehicle. It now has 370,000 kms on the clock. Still runs and drives good, no rust, looks nice. It is being retired and we'll auction it off to the employees.

I usually follow this logic^. Also if the repair will cost more than what the truck is worth. And if the truck is safe to operate at highway speeds.

"drive it til the wheels fall off"
okay (yeah, its not an f150)
did the same thing to a ranger, same wheel too.
Back to the f150's
94: 298,000 miles, motor rebuilt about 10-20,000 ago
&
04: 200,000 and counting
06: 130,000 miles then motor went pop. 60,000 mile junkyard motor spit a plug a month after the warrenty expired. no more triton motors for this guy
