I don't consider this "high miles", but my 2014 FX4 5.0L V8 has just shy of 28,000 miles on it right now, and the engine/drive train has been completely trouble free. In fact, it's been running like a top from day one. I don't have anything like rough idle, the infamous "loud ticking" that some people have, etc. I put a level and 34"x11.5" LT mud tires on it which added weight and changed factory specs/geometry, but the truck still feels like it came off the lot this way. Of course, there was a very slight loss of power/acceleration due to the added unsprung weight, but who cares. I didn't buy the truck to be a race car.
For the sake of full disclosure, the only real issue I've had with the truck was the sunroof track clips breaking, keeping the glass from opening/closing, but that was fixed under the BTB warranty, and is back to perfect working order. That said, the sunroof thing has nothing do with the engine/drive train, so it's irrelevant in terms of this thread.

89,000 miles on my 2wd 2012 157" wb 5.0 Super Crew.
One trip to the dealer to have magic "blue grease" put into the driveshaft to cure a bump in the drive line. Warrantied. Just replaced the OEM tires. With 10,000 mile oil change intervals, this has been by far the easiest to live with vehicle I've ever owned.

gotta admit though, with the "skid plate" under the front end, it's a bit more of a PITA to change the oil in my truck than I'd like it to be, but none the less I prefer to do it myself to make sure it's done right.
As far as all that goes, other than checking air pressure in my tires, changing the oil, and putting wiper/washer fluid in when required, I have not had to do a thing to "maintain" my truck ... though I did get a notice for a 27K mile checkup ... seeing as how warranty runs out in late March of 2017, or in about 8k more miles, I will probably take it in and let them give it a once-over to make sure everything still looks as it should. I also have a few little things that are probably not "broken", but that I do want them to look at and see if I can convince them that they need some sort of repair or adjustment so that if/when I run out of my warranty period I don't end up with something breaking at 40K miles where I have to cover 100% of the costs.

Good point about the oil changes, though I think most vehicles are getting to that point, and it's not really an F150 thing. I just changed my oil for the 4th time yesterday afternoon. First change was at 3000 to get rid of the initial factory oil, then again just after 10K .. then again at about 19K, then again at just under 28K.

We're at the same mileage and I just had mine replaced under warranty.

You could upgrade to an actual skid plate and get RCI's new "service friendly" front skid. Win win. Sorry for the off topic... I can't contribute to the high mileage 5.0 thread. My 13 only has 13,500
