Yeah, I don't get the "it's just a truck" attitude. Goody for you if you can just mosey on down to the dealer and pick up a new one whenever it strikes your fancy, but I damn sure can't. I actually have had to work for the things I have, including my truck, hence the rules...

I certainly agree there are things in life more important than material goods, but so long as I can take care of my things, I will.

I hate to see how my brothers vehicles will look once he moves out on his own. My dad keeps us ontop of cleaning out vehicles yet my brother's Ram still get filthy inside.

TheBlack2011FX4 ohhhh ouch a big ding. Stuff like that pisses me off. because others don't care about their own stuff, they don't care about no one elses either. It is a shem to ding up anyone else car/truck, no matter what it is. Sometimes people don't pay attention to what their kids are doing too. They just hop out and let the door swing open. I was not an happy camper with my first ding. Also thats true about if ever to buy a new vehicle. I know one thing for sure, I would not buy a used Raptor. I have seen too many videos on the net of what people do to them. I understand they are made for off roading, but I would have to get one new so I can know it has not been thru all the stuff I have seen people put them thru. :-)
Mattm400 yeah I know right, it is disgusting too and a shame. There ain't no need for stuff like that. there are people here where I work with nasty filthy vehicles. Some people never wipe off the dash and stuff or clean the windows.

Count Drunkula, I don't get it either. One guy mentioned on another thread about people being too passionate about their truck and it is just a vehicle. I said Yes, I am very passionate about my truck. My truck has a name and all.
TheBlack2011FX4, wow thats scary and ashame. It is scary because the vehicle is burning near the houses. Its a good thing it was not in a garage or close to the house. Some people are hoarders and just plain junky. We have them here at work. Even their cubicle is junky.
tareed94 yes if he doesnot stay on top of it, it will get bad and nasty.

My F150 Lariat is by far the most expensive vehicle I've ever owned but I've always had the same rules for over 40 years when I bought my first one.
NO SMOKING
NO FOOD
NO DRINKS (UNLESS IT'S ME DRINKING COFFEE)
NO FEET ON DASH
KEEP YOUR FEET ON MATS
NO KICKING YOUR FEET ON EDGE OF TRUCK TRYING TO CLEAN MUD OFF(THAT WOULD REALLY TICK ME OFF. I MAY JUST DRIVE OFF WITHOUT YOU)
DON'T TOUCH RADIO OR ANY OF THE CONTROLS
NO SMASHING FLYS ON THE WINDOWS

Here is other ones I don't any one has added.
Do not lean against my truck, or sit on my bumper, or set your drink or what ever you have in your hand on my truck. Or lean over the side of my truck with belt buckles, etc on to get something out the bed of the truck.
I have seen my father curse some one out because they sat on his bumper while talking to some one else. Some people have no respect for others property. I saw a lady at work carrying papers and a note book, she stopped while walking to the building to fix her shoe, she set her stuff on the trunk of some one elses car.

rdkev, heres one for you, that is also a "Do Not" on my list. We have a lot of family who live out in the country on dirt roads and all, so if my truck is dusty or whatever, or have a lot of pollen on it (like we get every year), don't draw or write with your finger thru the dust on my truck. I don't like that either. We have teenage family members that have done that before. LOL

I wouldn't consider myself too picky but I do have a couple of things that just drive me crazy. Don't lean on my paint, I don't want your knife clip, belt buckle, phone case, etc scratching my paint. If your have something on you that will get on my leather seats or scratch them, don't get in my truck! Also no feet on the dash or the seats and don't complain about me parking far away to avoid door dings.

Can't stand that either. Not only for having something wrote on the truck but it can scratch the paint. Barely caught a friend before he drew male genitalia on my tailgate in sand
