Default What should I list my truck and where

Need to sell my 2011 F150 Ingot Silver Super Cab FX4, new job in the city with longer commute.

Details:
2011 FX4 supercab 5.0
20 inch grey painted rims
Appearance package, remote start, powerfold mirros, heated seats, sliding glass rear window, with moon roof etc...
has 28,000 miles on it and no major dings, dents or scratches.
Have transferable manufacturers extended warranty.
Live in Cincinnati, OH

Question:

What do I list it for and where should I list it? I haven't ever had any luck with autotrader.com.

Might want to see what a dealer will give you on trade-in. They are actually paying really good down here in FL right now. Our trucks are in high demand.

never had much luck with AutoTrader or Craigslist. too many scammers out there. i would shop it a dealer, Carmax or trade it. i would not sell it myself unless buyer met me at the bank with cash money. certified or cashier checks can be bogus. i would trade it on the car you are looking at, not worth the hassle now days. i got within $500 of what i tried selling my truck before trading it in. took my seat covers, floor mats, bed mat out after trade in, recovered most of the difference back after selling on Tacoma forum. by the way post it here in the classified.

I've sold a few cars on autotrader, but it's always a pain to deal with some people. One guy said he wanted a vehicle I had for sale, but not to hold it and to just sell it if someone else came along. I sold it and his daughter sent me a bunch of nasty emails about how she doesn't have a vehicle now and that her dad was buying it for her. I replied back with the emails her dad sent me and he denied it all. I finally just ignored them and went on with my life.

I am trying to sell my 2011 Lariat with a 5.0 engine because I am assuming a lease on a 2013 FX4, the dealer wants to give me $28,500 for it, I see them going for sale in Auto Trader for $35,000 plus I have it listed for $34,000 and no takers at all in a week, either on Auto Trader and Craigslist, I thought these trucks would be easy to sell?? My truck is showroom, never used as a truck LOL, Oh well, if it doesnt sell in 2 weeks the dealer gets it. Good luck with your sale.

Try posting on Cars.com. I posted a truck on there before and got serveral calls before I just ended up trading it in. Ebay might be worth a shot.
