I actually prefer the clean looks of no boards myself, but with2 small kids and a short wife they are a must have

Oh WOW!!!

You REALLY need the Amp Research Powersteps like I just put on my truck!!

You get the clean look you like, and your wife and kids would LUV 'em!

My wife is 5'8" and even she finds they make it much easier to get in and out of the truck. They extend out further and down closer to the ground to make getting in/out a lot easier.

And did I mention that you'd get the "clean" look you like?

Got mine from forum vendor Autoplicity for way cheaper than anyplace else can come close to.

No argument by me that absence of side boards (or PTM door moldings) look better than with as shown below. Even so, boards provide full-time parking lot door ding protection and reduce seat bolster abrasion too by stepping up onto the board then in/down onto the seat cushion. Likely some here don't care much about that stuff but I do and suspect others on this forum think likewise about their spendy trucks...

Installed Amp Research Powersteps (retractable running boards) on F150 - YouTube

You buy em and send em to me and I'll gladly put them on. I'd love to have some, just not going to spend $1200 on some steps for my truck.
