Default What PSI for E rated tires?

Just purchased a 2010 F150 Supercab 4x4 STX and replaced the OEM P275/65/18 tires with Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor LT275/70/18 E rated tires. I do not haul or tow anything significant, ever. Just wanted a larger tire and the next size up happnened to be an E rated tire. Ford suggest 35 psi in the OEM's. What psi should I run in the Silent Armors? They're rated for 80 psi max. Will 35 psi be too little? I don't want to run too little air and have heat build up to where the tire separates. Nor do I want it aired up too much with no load and have too little tread on the road. Thanks for your comments.

I've run 50psi in mine for 7000 miles and there is no abnormal wear.

Not this again. This is another one that uses that saying about "everyone has one...."

I am running 45 psi in mine.... seems to be good so far but havent had the tires on long. I spoke to a few different people about it and that is what we came up with to keep fuel economy up and not create a real bumpy ride and abnormal tire wear.

The guys at my local Big-O said to run somewhere between 45-50psi for my E-rated Toyo Open Country A/T (LT265/70R17).

Start at 50psi. If that's too rough, go down. Go up for hauling.

I have. 2010 screw 6.5' box and I don't haul much. Light loads normally. I am running 50psi front and 55psi back. It is still a fairly smooth ride, and tire wear seams even so far.
