The fuse and relay were in the box with the brake controller. If it's installed at the factory, you already have it.

So, no, using the OEM options, you don't need that bag of parts at all.

Won't argue with you, and maybe Ford has changed it since 2010, but when I picked up my new 2010 with OEM TBC, the fuse and relay were in a bag in the glove box and I had to install them myself.

My 2014 with max trailer tow didn't come with the fuse and relay installed.

well now I am thoroughly confused. my 2012 f150 xlt with tow package has no trailer brake/turn lights. I have no 12v power to the 7 pin connector at the rear bumper. there is no fuse or relay in slot 7 or 21 in the underhood power distribution box. the truck does have the factory installed brake controller but there is no power to it.. the dealer says I do need the accessory wire that came in the glove box. I have the wire now but don't know where to install it, does anyone know where to find instructions to do this.. thanks

you need the fuse and relay, not the harness. the OEM brake controller plugs in to an existing harness under the dash.
