Default What gap for SP-534 plugs in 5.0, also a headlight question.

Just got my new spark plugs from stage 3, should I stick with the factory gap or change it? 2013 5.0, stock with 40,300 miles.

Also, truck was sold in Canada and has day time running headlights, is there a way to disable them?

You can use Forscan to disable the DRL's.

Your truck is equipped with double platinum spark plugs that require replacement at 100,000 miles.

Link to Forscan for DTRL among other things, that can be changed by yourself.

Well I've had a rough idle the past 5K miles. Just swapped the plugs and it's way smoother now. On the downside, 2 of the screws holding down the ignition coils broke off from rust, so that sucks ***. Luckily they broke off right at the head so theres studs to grab onto and get out after a lot of PB blaster soak time.

You could have re-gapped the plugs and received the same results.

did you happen to check the gaps of the used plugs to see where they were at? My idle sucks at 42k.
