I have the Husky Weather Beaters also. Love the fit in the front. The back could extend under the seat, but not the end of the world. They do have a slight rubbery texture to them. Haven't had any slipping issues with them, unless there's a lot of water that freezes over night. One thing i like about the Huskys over the Weathertechs is the ridge by the door. It keeps stuff on the mat instead of rolling down onto the door sill.

I'm always surprised to hear how much people love Weathertech. I had the exact opposite experience in my wife's Yukon. Like most people I'd seen all the Weathertech ads plastered all over tv, print, and web. I thought to myself, "Digital fit... these are going to be awesome!" So I bought directly from Weathertech... $400 to cover the entire Yukon XL (I think it's $250ish for the F-150)

It only took something like 3 weeks to arrive, but they sent two different colors, black for the front and gray for the rear. So more waiting to get the right color sent. Then I take them out of the box and immediately notice they are not rubber, but thin, slick plastic; not at all what I'd imagined. Also, they are folded several times at the factory to fit in smaller boxes for shipping. The creases in the plastic are very hard to get out.

So then I put the liners in the Yukon. Because they are thin plastic, they are not very heavy. Also there are no nubs on the bottom of the mats, just super slick plastic surface. The light weight and lack of nubs means they slide around easily. What good is a mat that claims superior coverage if it doesn't stay in place? Personally, having your flooring move around beneath your feet is super annoying. So is the cheap, plastic feel of these liners.

The other issue is one of design. The front mats sit flat to the door sills making entry and exit easy. The rear mats have a substantial lip at the door sill creating a tripping hazard for those getting in or out of the back seat (e.g. kids). Look... pics from their own web site clearly show this. Look closely at the lip on the rear mats. That's as good as it will ever look. Over time that lip will curl up making matters worse.





After about a year in the Yukon our Weathertech liners looked like crap and were not performing as advertised. So I called Weathertech figuring the customer service would certainly take care of me... I provided pics as instructed (same ones you see below); after a few days of deliberating they decided to refund me 1/2 of the purchase price (not incl. shipping that I paid). But they told me to keep the defective liners. Huh?? How about a full refund and I send the liners back? They said no, they didn't want them back. It honestly felt like they were trying to "settle" with me so I'd go away rather than standing behind their product and making things right. That was the day I decided I'd never do business with them again. It's one thing to have an poorly designed, overpriced product. It's another thing to fail at customer service.

I forgot to mention... it probably goes without saying, but I didn't buy Weathertech for my F-150. Instead I got Ford's OEM all weather mats. They are thick, heavy rubber and don't move around at all. Very happy with them. And you don't have to cut anything for the sub. Ford designed a specific set for trucks with the factory sub.

Best part... I paid $70 shipped to my door.

Do not get the weather tech rear mat. It is cheaply made, and curls up. Wasted my money on it and wish I got the husky or Ford rear mat.

Edit: In fact, I was thinking, why am I tolerating that stupid weather tech floor mat in the backseat and I just ordered a Husky replacement.

Spending $100 bucks extra so I can wing the weather tech into the trash is worth it to me.

Maxpider 3d's I had weathertech in my last car and they did not protect the carpet as good as I was lead to believe they would.

Also the Maxpider's are very easy to clean and when I took them out I did not see any area's that they did not protect.

Less money then the Weathertech as well!

I have the Ford mats and like them…. Do not like mats that can hold a lot of water from melting snow! Eventually it's a pita to deal with imo………. Also you climb in a super cold truck and what do you have……. FROZEN water in the mats! Honestly some water on the carpet isn't going to ruin it………

In the summer I use regular carpeted mats because I like the feel of that better then any rubber mat……

You couldn't get them back up with a heat gun? My weathertechs have held up pretty well, but it looks like yours see a little more rugged treatment. Granted they should be able to hold up to it, considering their cost.
