Default What features are included in the "Texas Edition"?

I'm from Texas, but currently living in Washington state. I just ordered a Lariat 4x4 SuperCrew with EcoBoost in Gloss Black.

I've seen photos on this site of "Texas Edition" F-150s, but it isn't an option when I try to build a truck on Ford's website (even using a Texas zip code).

Can anyone with a "Texas Edition" tell me what came with that package, and when did Ford stop offering it?

Also, I'd love to see photos of anyone's "Texas Edition".

Its a dealer special package, it basically gave you a package deal of options just like any other truck, but a little bit cheaper. Thats it, your not missing much but a badge, if you still want those, go get some made or buy em off ebay.

i think its just an XLT with a chrome package and a special badge. I see them all the time around here - but I live in Texas, so that makes sense.

If you want the badge - i have 2 brand new ones that are OEM that I do not plan on putting on my Lariat (I like the little Texas design of the badge, but decided not to put them on the truck). Make you a great deal.

I agree, its a XLT package plus some of this or that AND 20" wheels... at least the ones I've seen all have 20's

I have a 2010 XLT Supercab Texas Edition. It just has the chrome package, and mine has a 5.4

Like the others have said, it's basically just an XLT with chrome package and (for '09-10) the 5.4L engine, and some wonderful badges.

Nothing special about it, just a way to hype Texas buyers into buying more Texas stuff. Most of the truck manufacturers have some type of Texas Edition. If it had something like "Texas Edition" or the outline of the state stitched into the seats or something, I'd be interested. But for just some stick on badges, I passed.

We even have a Georgia, and Carolina edition here on the east coast. Appears to be as said, the chrome package with the nifty little emblems.

The Texas Edition has the front licenses plate mount. It's the only difference other than the badge. Some people like the Texas Edition so they can put novelty plates on the front when their state only requires a plate on the back.
