What do you tow with your F150?
Curious to see what people are towing behind their new F150's. How does your F150 perform towing? How much weight do you tow, likes, dislikes, etc.
I'll get it started with a couple pics. Boat and trailer weigh around 4,000 pounds or so. The 5.4L with the 3.73 gears seams to handle it very well. The towing mirrors are awesome and hitching up with the back up camera is amazing! Lets see your pics and hear about what you are towing.

I tow/haul this.
Tow this.
And this.
It does OK. Probably should have got a 250, especially for the camper combo. The stability control hates the sway caused by the slide in camper and keeps hitting the brakes in corners!!!

Havent towed it with the truck yet, but my sister bought one too so now we have a two place trailer and it will kill the mustang so it gave me an excuse to buy the F150 I have always wanted. Not only that I can tow the mustang when I want to get it tuned or whatever.

Let's see, so far, I've hauled...
1) A uhaul trailer pulling my Dad's truck. That didn't go very easily, but it handled it. Had too much tongue weight which badly challenged handling. I figured about 7500 pounds.
2) Hauled a 25' Maxlite travel trailer. Once I got the weight distribution set up, it was a dream. Could almost forget it was there.
3) I now own a 31' Dutchmen trailer. I haven't towed it except off the auction lot to home with the weight distribution. Not properly set up but it was still good. Sticker says it weighs in at 5400 dry with a max weight of 7600. Before I start loading in personal stuff, I'll get it weighed.
Overall, with my 5.4, 3.55, 4x4 extended cab, I'm very happy with my truck.

Here's what I tow. 5.5l, 3,73 LS, max trailer tow package and trailer tow mirrors. Trailer is about 2000 lbs, horses about 1000-1200 each. No problems at all, pulls great. The rear camera makes hooking up too easy. Only problem, now the new truck makes the trailer look shabby! I'm thinking about getting it painted, at least the blue top that has faded.

Abn150, since horse trailers generally can last a lifetime, why not Line-X the top??? Will keep it from rusting and it will be the last time you have to maintain it... Looking at doing that when the car trailer needs a redo...
As far as towing, moved my whole house, u-haul trailer, car and box, towed perfect... Looking to get a travel trailer in the next year or so...
