Looks fixable. Hire a good dent removal guy, should be no problem for him!

Ask a couple body shops (paintless dent repair) for some quotes before you decide to do it. Might be more expensive than 300, could be less. If it's less, then you just saved a claim on your insurance.

That dent up by the windshield might be too extreme for pdr guys, especially being aluminum. I have replaced hoods with hundreds of hail dents, and pdr wouldn't touch it, if it had just one like that. But you never know...some are better than others just like any job

PDR will fix that and the average cost is $50-75.00 around where I live. The only reason they would not be able to fix that is if the dent is above a inside hood enforcement brace.

PDR can fix that for sure, 2 weeks after I bought my truck we had a hail storm, $2,200 later it's back to like new again.

Down here they charge $100 usd/dent.

Still think it's a little too sharp for pdr, but like I said, I could be wrong.

Had the same thing happen to my 2013. Got it fixed locally for $300, but they did a crappy job. Shopped it around later and was told that the aluminum hood is bugger to repair. Very hard to make it "like new". Some places just replace them.

I lived with it for a couple of years. It wasn't bad until you looked close. Nobody knew but me but the truck just wasn't the same. The scratches and slight dent ruined the fun of a good wash and wax. Recently got smacked in the rear on the highway, so the truck is in for repair. While it is there, I'm having them fix the hood too. Insurance is paying for rear end repair and I'm paying for the hood. About $800 for just the hood.

Before I had it fixed the first time, I called a couple of dent wizard places and they either didn't want the work or wouldn't touch the aluminum. They told me that they had too many dissatisfied customers when they try to un-dent aluminum.

Mine had a couple of dents and one of them was crease-like. That may have scared them off.

$300....... New hood, new decal....no brainer. IMO. My wife wrecked a tailgate, my daughter wrecked a hood.... Both within the last 4 years, my insurance never went up. State Farm told me they don't even blink over small (under $3k or 5k I think she said) repairs.
It's the big 30-50k total losses that would probably get you.
