ok i seen the video and i dont have that noise going on. kind of sounds like that for a second when i start it ( after it sits ). But i dont hear anything after ive started it for the first time each day. And sometimes it wont do it even after sitting for the weekend. But what ever it is its driving me nuts. Correct me if im wrong but the 5.4 has no lifters right?
I even thought maybe it was the injectors but it would be all the time. Or maybe the oil is draining back and its a dry start.

CORRECT:SOHC and DOHC engines replaced the lifters and pushrods. Check out the link below . It could be the camshaft tensioners. They make a lot of noise when engine is up to normal operating temperatures. Noise your probably hearing is the chain slapping back and forth.
