Welp time to call district manager.
Just got my truck back from the dealer today said the engine noise was normal and cam phasers moving back and forth which shouldn't happen regardless and naturally could no duplicate the down shift to 3rd gear noise.
It might also be worth noting to anybody that doesn't know. Ford tells the technicians if they can not hear the noise at the top of the motor there is not a problem. Well of course your not going to hear the beginning of a bad knock at the top of a motor that sounds like a bunch of rats having an orgy because of the injectors and stupid *** ticking that is also 'normal' from the valve train.
