Default U bolts (lift kit with blocks)

I have a 2012 FX4 with 6" lift, blocks in the rear....my rear end started to shake pretty badly under acceleration and after checking, my ubolts are pretty loose, a good 1 mm of play in them

can I simply re-torque the nuts? remove, clean old Loctite, new Loctite and criss cross torque pattern?

or do I need new new u bolts and nuts? I've heard you shouldn't re-torque them, but I'm not clear why you shouldn't?

thanks.

You should be fine to re torque them.
I check u bolts torque after a lift install 3 or 4 times.

I can do this in my driveway, flat level ground...just torque them in intervals, 100, 125, 150?
