Default Anyone painted this part?

Anyone painted this part highlighted in red?

I'm thinking about taking the lens housing apart and painting this part silver so it pops out a little more, but I'd like to see pictures of someone who has done it first.

I'm a little afraid to take them apart unless I think its worth it.

Depends on what you color it? If you are matching your paint I would say no. If you are doing white I would say no. If you are doing matte black I would say no.

Basically I would say no with those lights. You have a dark truck and not many colors will make those better. And you are messing with $3000 lights!!!

If it were mine, and white, I wouldn't touch it.

Ok, I re-read. Silver would look good but all that for some silver? So close to the metallic.

My truck is silver.

Ah, I concede. Silver with silver would look good. Guess I should have looked at your avatar. That would pop a lot.

But again, cracking open $3000 lights is

I can tell you with beaming confidence that it's NOT worth it to pull the lens apart for that.

I didn't really paint the whole section, but I pinstriped it..

anything that makes the truck look likes "generic" is worth it IMO
