Default Wash/Detail what order?

When washing and detailing your truck what order do you go in? Sometimes i find myself going back over spots with the spray wax when i accidentally get some over spray of other products on the truck like from cleaning the glass.

Also, when using the spray detail/wax as you dry how much do you use per panel?

Was also wondering how you guys keep your trucks clean in the winter months with cold and snow? I was thinking of using the auto car wash then park in garage and use the spray wax?

I rinse, do trim then soap wash by hand, then wax paint. Clean interior then do windows. Last things are rain x then wheels. I kind of have a system after many years of cleaning my own vehicles. For rinsing and even soaping I bought a hose attachment similar to what is at diy car washes, high pressure. It even has a soap container and switch to swap between soap spray and clean water. Drying with a good quality microfiber towel helps a lot.

If you use an aerosol tire spray, do the tires first. Trim, spray wax/QD, then glass.

During the winter I do the selfwash and just quickly powerwash all the way around. No soap. Costs a few bucks. At least every 2 weeks. Sometimes weekly depending on weather/road/buildup conditions.

I just tried the Turtle Wax Ice spray wax. I like the way it works. Did everything but the tires with it. Will stick with it, I think.
