If you bring it back to the same crappy service department ...than yes. But if you bring it to another dealership than its probably not necessary.

You know if the job calls for 12 hours for the repair and you get it done in 5 hours you used to still get to claim the 12 hours on pay period. Shoot when I was a painters apprentice the journey man that was training me was "flagging" 100-120 hours in a 40 hour week and that was back in 1991 right after I got out of high school and vocational school.

That's a real pisser if they took that away from you all!
That's how i still get paid. Flat rate. I was averaging 120-150 hours a week. At $16 per flat rate hour. This is at a body shop anyway

Go online to the website. It was in the banner ad on my auto policy page. You can probably search for extended warranty on the website, and find it that way too.

Yeah, flag time on warranty really sucks. Forb example, to change and A/C compressor, accumulator, oriface tube, and vacuum down the system then add freon pays 4.5 hours on most Peterbilts. Whether that tech gets done in 2 or 8, your bill for that job will be 4.5 hours. If that compressor is warranty then they will only pay the tech 2 hours for that job. Most warranties do not pay for extra freight either meaning that if the dealership does not have the part then you will have to pay if you want it shipped next day to get it done ASAP. Otherwise you will have to wait.

Warranty? We have those on our 40k trucks? I talked to a service advisor this week who seemed more concerned with eating his bag of chips than he did at making me an appointment. Luckily I didn't need one, as he told me that they wouldn't cover my $33 multifunction switch anyway, since it only goes crazy and turns my wipers on once in a while and not everyday. Said I should bring it back when the wipers either fail to come on, or to shut off completely. Hope my wife isn't driving with my kids on the expressway when that happens. No fear guys.....I'm gonna have a different dealer just install the switch and I'll pay for it. My third F150 here. Rethinking my loyalty nxt time around.

Get it in writing wait for an accident and lawyer up. Seems that is what Ford wants. F*ck them and their shabby warranty
