Default Warning Noob Question

Hey guys, I'm the proud owner of a 2013 F150 FX4 (white) and have been a lurker here for a little while. I get awefully confused on wheel fitment, which is why I am posting here.

My plans are to run the stock pirelli's (I know I know) and get some aftermarket rims....maybe the Fuel Dune's. Then use the stock rim for some dedicated winters.

Now....what size aftermarket rim do I need? 20x9 with an offset of.....

I'm confused.

Why would you change rims to suit the tires you currently have? I don't get it....

rsenio ... Now....what size aftermarket rim do I need? 20x9 with an offset of.....
With 20"x9" rims OEM, stock offset will be fine ... 25mm - 44mm

Currently have 20"x10" all around, no leveling, no lift, etc. with 44mm offset and there are no issues.
.

Having said that, and I have read different "truths".....do you know if on a stock height FX4 if 285/55/20's still fit without a level?

20X9 with stock tires will look stupid...but stock off set is 0 with 5.72 back spaceing.
