Default Want to change my exhaust what to do?

What have you guys done to your exhaust as far as adding a flowmaster etc? I don't want to dual out my truck but wouldn't mind maybe having the stock muffler removed and the (resonator?) that's ahead of it and keeping my stock side exit tip.

Do these trucks sound good with that kind of setup? I don't want droning or stupid loud either

i deleted my reso and swapped my muffler to a smaller flowmaster, and added a 4.5" tip to the stock tail pipe, it looks and sounds awesome IMO. best of luck on your research FORDDRVR if you look at my started threads i have a "Show off your Tail" thread to help ya out

I just removed my resonator and muffler, then added a magnaflow muffler to my 13 5.0. sound is excellent and only cost 150 bucks here in AZ.

I changed out the muffler on my 5.0 for an 18" Magnaflow. Mellow while still reminding you there is a V8 under the hood.

If you're wanting an inexpensive option with decent sound, this is your best bet. I did it on mine and couldn't be happier with the way it sounds. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/anybod...e-only-227931/
