Default Visor clip

The visor clip on my 09 F150 (bought in July 09) has suddenly expanded and no longer holds the visor securely. Nothing traumatic happened to the clip; all I can figure is the heat somehow got to it and made it expand. It had me thinking something (spacer of some type) had fallen off the visor part, but as far as I know, there are no removable parts on this.

I'll take it back to my dealer at some point and get a new one put in, but it seems odd to me that such a new part has already gone bad.

Anyone else seen this?

THat was the first thing I had fixed on my 2010 fx4. did that at about 4000 miles. It would pop off on rough roads. Dealer ordered it and replaced under warranty. Good luck

I had this issue on my raptor. the clips worked (from what I can remember) when I bought it, then one day they didn't even clip the visor in. It would rattle on rough roads. I took it to the dealer and they ordered some new ones for me. The broken ones were like a O cut in half so it had nothing to clip. The new ones were more of a C so it clips in. IDk what happened but its fixed now.
