This post is from over a year ago but I'm curious if you could answer this question.
I purchased the same muffler after reading this thread and took it to a local muffler shop. They kinda laughed and said that such a small muffler wouldn't work on my truck and that the back pressure would blow my manifold. Obviously your setup seems to work fine so I'm wondering if it is because of your placement that it's ok to use this size of muffler?
